of WEEKEND EVENTS
April 1 to November 6, 2011
10 AM to 4 PM Tuesday thru Sunday
(Also open Easter Monday, Memorial Day, Labor Day and all Mondays in October)
Available daily: petting farm, hay rides, pony rides, Enchanted Forest attractions and Enchanted Forest Maze, playground and play areas, picnic area, country store Birthday parties and tours also available.
APRIL
2-3, 2011 OPENING WEEKEND. Reacquaint yourself and your children
with your favorite
animals at our farm. Did Eli have a good winter? Take a pony ride on Captain Jack.
Ready to take a hayride with Trusty the Tractor? Martha Clark will be
available to sign copies of her children's book "Trusty the Tractor."
APRIL 9-10, 2011 GEM MINING WEEKEND. Once a month we will
feature the chance to have a hands-on experience of gem mining. Purchase
a bucket full of enriched ore, and use the water flume to discover gems
you can take home with you. Fun for all ages. Check out Snow White's
friends, a few of the seven dwarves, who are helping out. Check

APRIL 16-17, 2011 ENCHANTED CHERRYBRATION WEEKEND. Celebrate Howard County’s “Cherrybration” at our farm with lots of pink pizzazz. All children in a family will get a free hay ride if at least one person in the family is dressed as a pink princess. Children may also dress up in princess gowns we have at the farm for a photo opportunity with “Princess Cherrybella”. On Saturday we will have a BLOSSOMS OF HOPE family lantern-making workshop from 11 AM to 4 PM. To round out our weekend of activities, we will have a Truly
Pink Treasure Hunt in the Enchanted Forest MAZE on both days. You will need to find 12 pink
things in the MAZE. Think pink!!!

APRIL 23-24, 2011 EGG HUNT WEEKEND. Children in
different age groups (ages 1 to 3 and 4 to 6) will have a
chance to hunt for eggs throughout the day on both Saturday and Sunday.
*Please bring your own Easter baskets and we'll provide the fun!

APR 30- MAY 1, 2011 SHEEP DOG WEEKEND Come see Border
Collie sheep herding demonstrations at 1:00 PM on Saturday
and Sunday with our resident shepherd, JANET HARVEY.
Janet competes with her dogs at herding contest throughout
the country. See how amazing the dogs are.
MAY
7-8, 2011 TEDDY BEAR FARM VISIT! This is
the 30th year TONY MCGUFFIN has hosted the Teddy
Bear Weekend. Before he came to
Clark's Elioak Farm 
when we opened in 2002, he hosted Teddy Bear Weekends
at The Cider Mill. Free hayrides for all children who
bring a Teddy Bear. Folk singing with Tony is Noon to
4 PM both days.

MAY 21-22, 2011 GRANDPARENTS WEEKEND.
FREE hay rides for all grandparents accompanied by a child.
A great time to see the Enchanted Forest treasures you
remember. Enjoy the pine tree MAZE, too.
MAY 28-30, 2011 MEMORIAL WEEKEND.
Open Monday, Memorial Day, too.
JUNE 4, 2011 TRUSTY
THE TRACTOR WEEKEND. Meet TARA
HANNON,
the illustrator of our own children’s book, “Trusty the Tractor.”
You will be able to get the book signed by both the author and the
illustrator, plus “draw Trusty with Tara” from 11am to 3 pm on
Saturday, June 4th.
